Houston Quilt Market 2010!!

Wednesday, November 3, 2010 3 Comments Filed Under: Blog

If you follow us on Facebook you might already know that my mom and I spent last weekend in Houston, Texas at the Quilt Market!! We had such a good time visiting booths, talking to designers, and (of course) placing TONS of amazing orders!  The best part is we have already started to receive orders!  We also came home with a plethora of cool loot like fat quarters, and Japanese patterns.  New orders will be arriving at Maisonnette all the way until APRIL!! How cool is that?! So don’t forget to ask us “what’s new?!” every time you come shopping at Maisonnette!!
Here are some slide shows from the Houston Quilt Market to tantalize your creativity…

Anna Maria Horner’s ”Innocent Crush” booth

Ty Pennington’s “Impressions” booth ………YES Ty Pennington has a line of fabric now!!

Birch Fabrics 100% organic fabric

Echino by Etsuko Faruya  We spent so much time in this booth that they would recognize us on the streets of Tokyo!

Ruby Star Rising by Melody Miller ….our new obsession!!!

Soul Blossoms by Amy Butler …her booth is always amazing!!

Oliver + S   ….our favorite children’s clothing line!!!

See you sooooon!! :)
XOXOXOXOXOXO Madeline

At first I was like oh, cool a whole line of small manly prints but when I saw it I LOVED IT! My rep also told me he didn't just put his name on the line he actually designed each print. His prints are bold and modern… can't wait for it to ship!

Wow, I so wouldn't have guessed that he would have designed each pattern! I guess because he is such a big name I assumed that someone from an ambiguous "Ty Team" would have done it. I am impressed!
