This pattern is the Folklore Bag from the book One-Yard Wonders. I used Japanese fabric by Etsuko Faruya from her Echino 2009 fall collection. I’m very excited about this pattern, and it’s a great size!
We’ll see how long this purse stays on display at Maisonnette before I rip it off the wall, and empty the contents of my purse into it!! I love this bag! Best part is, it only took a yard of fabric!!
xoxo Madeline
P.S. late night blogging with a box of dark chocolate roasted pistachio toffee sitting next to you is not a good idea! Somebody seriously needs to STOP ME!!!

That bag is great! Love the fabric too – and the candy, um of course I love that! xo
Love the bag and LOVE the fabric!
It is so lovely! I want one of my own just like it!!
Did it really only take you a yard? I cannot seem to find a way to lay out my pattern pieces to fit on my one yard of fabric!
Your bag is beautiful though!
I did this bag too! http://prettydarnpretty.wordpress.com/2010/04/30/my-folklore-bag/ I love it. I forgot that the lining pieces didn't really need to be the same fabric but luckily I had more than a yard so the entire thing is the same fabric. Maybe that's why you don't have enough, Maggie.
