An idea came to me as I was trying on a $14 shirt. The top of the shirt was t-shirt jersey and the bottom was cotton fabric. The fabric on the bottom was cheap, thin, and felt like it was coated in hair spray. With the right accessories and a pair of skinny jeans it could have been pulled off. Then I though to myself why should I represent this kind of cheapness when I could make a better version that will last me a long time? So I did just that, and lucky for me, my mom was just about to give a trash bag full of clothing to the Good Will (sorry Good Will I got all the good stuff out!).
The things I rescued for myself, according to my mom never fit her right so they were hardly ever worn.
I like it! It’s super comfy, and I’ve been wanting to use this Anna Maria Horner “Good Folks” print for a long time! Tutorial is sure to come soon!!

♥LOVE♥ you are my kind of girl! I used to make all of Kaitlin's clothes just like that (don't laugh Mother) when she was little!
You know, I always had a hard time getting rid of Michael Starrs shirts – just something about them. This is awesome!
love this re-fashion! great job, looking forward to the tutorial.
I would love to see a tutorial! I saw the shirts you are talking about in Target. They were cute, but your store carries cuter fabric!
