Tonight was the sample spree which was really fun once we discovered these awesome pattern companies!!

Okay, okay I know you are all dieing to know who my celebrity run-in at international quilt market is! As we were leaving the sample spree going down the escalator, low and behold it was Jay McCarroll !! If you don’t know who Jay McCarroll is, well, let me tell you! He was the season 1 Project Runway winner!!! He now has a fabric line through Michael Miller.
So anyways back to my story. As we were going down the escalator my jaw literally (seriously) dropped and I promptly started to nudge my mom and started to explain (in my lowest voice possible) who this was in front of us. You are probably wondering if I then tapped him on the shoulder, and said to him “Jay, hi, I watched you on Project Runway, and I really admire your designs. Can I take a picture with you?” well actually, I suddenly felt my face get hot and chickened out. Yes, I was starstruck. haha! Tomorrow the exhibits open so I’ll have another opportunity to meet him and maybe even get a picture with him eeeeehehehe!
I’m a little too excited!
